Seek the Lord while He may be found, call Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6
Dear Brothers and Families,
How's your Lent going? How many of you are taking notes during the homilies? Do you remember Frank Denton and J316 and J317?
We will be electing alternates and a 2nd delegate for the upcoming State Convention in Corpus Christi May 5-7 at our April meeting. Anyone interested in going should attend. A new slate of State officers will be elected which always makes for an interesting convention.
I close with a Little Toddler Humor...Property Laws of a Toddler:
1. If I like it, it's mine.
2. If it's in my hand, it's mine.
3. If I can take it from you, it's mine.
4. If I had it a little while ago, it's
mine.
5. If it's mine, it must never appear to
be yours in any way.
6. If I'm doing or building something,
all of the pieces are mine.
7. If it looks like mine, it's mine.
8. If I saw it first, it's mine.
9. If you're playing with something and
you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.
10. If it's broken, it's yours.
May the Lord continue to bless you and yours with a deeper sense of His love and presence.
Live life to the fullest,
Michael P. Cutbirth

lack of interest.

will need two alternate delegates.
The April Corporate Communion will be the last

response from Life Teen on the volleyball or basketball games. In

PROGRAM DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE
Brother Knights, we are rapidly approaching the
end of our year. Next month, we will form an election committee.
Many positions need to be filled with individuals like you. The work
isn’t hard.
If you are interested in holding an office make it known to the election committee. This year we have tried to identify those areas where you will not have to go it by yourself. We have regularly scheduled events throughout the year. We want to get them filled first then work on those things that "pop" up.
One of my goals has been to get the programs running smoothly without undo effort on the part of the chairman or the Grand Knight. I ask that you volunteer for at least one project. Most projects do not require a lot of time. For example: BBQ Teams work 3 or 4 Sundays a year. Other projects are once a year. Volunteer now and get the one you want.
I want to thank all those who have stepped up to the volunteer plate and assisted those who needed it.
We have changed the Car Maintenance Day to June
17,2000 and the Elderly Assistance Project to April 29, 2000.
FIRST COMMUNION IN MAY
Lent is half over. Have you offered up
something special during Lent for the First Communicant for whom you are
praying? Easter will be here in three weeks. Please give your
First Communicant child a very special Easter card. You should have
had a reminder phone call by the time you read this newsletter. Thank
you for your prayers, and keep praying. If you have any questions
please phone John at 341-0777, Leroy at 342-5390, Rick at 342-7895 or Paul
at 342-9096.
YOUTH ACTIVITIES
Paul Metcalf and his team (Rick Bilski,
John Healey, and Leroy Vacek) have done a fantastic job of establishing
the initial contact between the First Communicants and their sponsor Knights.
Let’s keep our support for the First Communicants active and ongoing as
they continue to prepare for their May First Communion.
The two activities (volleyball and basketball)
with the Life Teen group are on hold. As plans are made Mike Speich
will let you know the details.
