July Service Opportunities Council BBQ Cook is scheduled for July 11th and 12th. Team "C" is up for this cook but help from other Brothers would be appreciated, as the summer has Brothers out on Vacation and weekend trips. Brother Tony Trevino, the "C" Team BBQ lead, has been or will be contacting you for assistance but feel free to just drop by and pitch in with your time and talents.
NO REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING ON JULY 14TH. Please note that due to the Sacred Heart Vacation Bible School booking both the FLC and CCE Building, the Council July 14th Regular meeting is cancelled.
Council yearly Planning session is scheduled for July 18th. ALL OFFICERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND and membership is welcome to come with your inputs for activities and fund raisers for the 2015-2016 fiscal year for our Council. The session will be held at Brother Arthur Hausler's house (21711 Honeysuckle Grove) and will start about 4:00PM. Wives are welcome to attend - I have heard rumblings of Farkle and other games. Council will provide Hot Dogs and Hamburgers and attendees are requested to bring a side dish or dessert. Please RSVP by July 14 to FS Brother Art or the Grand Knight so we can be sure to get enough burgers and dogs. Some soft and adult drinks will be provided but if you have special requests - it's BYOB.

Father Michael and Father Thomas are HERE Father
Michael Nguyen celebrated his first Mass at Sacred Heart on Wednesday,
July 1st and the rest of the week. He was joined by Father Thomas
Ha who con-celebrated Mass with him this morning, July 6th. |
VA HOSPITAL VISITATION Future 2015-2016 dates that our Council is scheduled are: August 30th, October 4th, November 1st, February 7th, April 3rd, June 19th.
Half a day to show your support of men who gave part of their lives to protect our freedoms is a small price to pay. We will leave Sacred Heart at about 7-7:15AM to car pool to the Veterans Hospital in the Houston Medical Center and should be back in the Sacred Heart parking lot by 12:00noon
Make room on your calendar for some or all of these dates on your calendar. Our Veterans deserve you to give back to them for the service to us and our country. |

Pro-Life Ace Wings - Viewing
the movie "Blood Money" (80 minutes) will serve as three of the five
event requirements. This is a very informative documentary involving
women having had abortions and others previously involved in the
