Thanks for your Service KC Christmas Party, Thu Dec 10 -
Thanks to all who supported this event with their attendance - Great
Food and Fellowship. Special Thanks to Jane Hausler and Patty
Harbes for table decorations and to Art Hausler and Larry Stryk for
Chairing the event and arranging the Council provided food and
entertainment (Brothers Mark Stryk and Jordan Stryk providing the
Music). PRMC was very appreciative of the products and $345 in
checks from council members. Brother Karl Hennings won half of the
reverse auction raffle pot ($245) that he donated to PRMC. The
Council wrote a check for $1000 that included the pot, Pot Match, and
Council Budgeted donation. 1st thru 3rd Degree Exemplification, Dec 12 - We have (5) new 3rd Degree Brother Knights in the Council. Included in the 1st Degree Exemplification of (21) new Brother Knights in the Archdiocese were (4) new Brothers for Council 7445 (Terry Beavers, Jeff Meyer, James Flores, and James Silva Jr). Directly after the 1st Degree, there was a 2nd and a 3rd Degree Exemplification with 45 new Brother Knights participating that included the (4) new Brothers above plus James Silva (father of James Jr) from Council 7445. Included in the 2nd/3rd Degree Exemplification were 3 Priests. |
December Service Opportunities Fri, Dec 18th - Christmas Caroling - Cambridge Health Center - 6:30PM - meet at Sacred Heart at 6:00PM Call John/Pauline Burkett (225-572-0423) for more details Sun, Dec 20th- VA Hospital Visitation - Meet at Sacred Heart parking lot by the FLC at 7:15AM and we will carpool to the VA Hospital. Will visit with hospitalized veterans and go to mass at 10:00AM in the VA Hospital Chapel. Should be back at Sacred Heart by 12:00 Noon. Hope to see you with us. Pro Life Activities Pro-Life Ace Wings - Viewing
the movie "Blood Money" (80 minutes) will serve as three of the five
event requirements. This is a very informative documentary involving
women having had abortions and others previously involved in the
