40 Cans for Lent - Week 4 The support for Week 5 of 40 Cans for Lent has picked up to over 1,000 pounds over the weekend. Per Helping Hands, the Parish donated 1,188 pounds to their stock this week. That makes 5,211 pounds in 5 weeks. That is over 2.5 TONS OF GIVING THAT THE PARISH HAS SHARED WITH OUR COMMUNITY.
Parish participation had been fantastic - have you joined in?
Thanks to all who supported the call thus far - keep it up, if
possible. Can we keep this level going for the 1 remaining
weekends and reach over 3 TONS? |

Brother John Burkett will be placing his quarterly order for Council
shirts and other gear in April. Please get with Brother John if

Lenten Fish Fry #4 Thanks for all the support from Brother Knights and their wives at the Lenten Fish Fry on Fri, Mar 11th.
Due to prior commits some key players were out but Brothers (and Wives)
stepped up to fill in the gaps. Outstanding support and a lot of
fraternity and hard work was shown by all present. Served 385 plates were served this week. Where were you? Hope to see YOU on Friday, Mar 18th for Fish Fry #6 and the last one for this Lenten season. There was considerable assistance from ACTS Brothers and Sisters and SSMM Ladies moved a lot of deserts. Please consider joining the community effort for Council 7445 and Sacred Heart ACTS and SSMM. |

Heart Chapel will offer Eucharistic Adoration from 9:00AM Wednesdays
until 6:45AM on Thursdays thru Lent. If you would like to
spend some personal quiet time with our Lord, please sign up via

March Service Opportunities Fri, Mar 18th, Lenten Fish Fry #6 - Sacred Heart FLC we
have reached your last chance to come and serve with your Brother
Knights and Sacred Heart Parishoners in this worthwhile fundraising
event for Knights, ACTS, and SSMM. Many positive comments from
parishoners on this event and how much they are enjoying the food and
fellowship. Come be a part. Sat, Apr 2nd, Adopt a Highway Trash Pickup - Last Saturday's trash Pick-up was cancelled due to the heavy rains earlier in the week. Due to Spring Break and Easter, this event will move out to April 2nd. We will meet at the Shell station at FM723 & FM359 and hit the 2 miles of FM359. With 6-10 guys (Spouses/kids/grandkids welcome) this task can be completed in less than 1.5 hours. Can you share your time to assist. Sat/Sun Apr 2nd/3rd - Council Monthly BBQ prep and cook - Brother Greg will be looking for
help for this cook with "A" Team taking the lead. Call Greg
(713-416-2983) to volunteer if you can make time. If you are not
on a BBQ team come out and see if you want to make this a regular
