Ladies Appreciation Night The
Ladies Appreciation Night on April 9th is approaching very fast.
The Co-Chairs (Art Hausler and Larry Stryk) need your support on a

Set Up and Kitchen Prep will start Friday evening about 5:30-6 and will
finish after 12Noon on Saturday due to prior commits. Your help
at either or both of these times, as well as tear down after the Meal,

40 Cans for Lent - Week 6 The support for Week 6 (FINAL WEEKEND) of 40 Cans for Lent finished strong. Per Helping Hands, the Parish donated 1,483 pounds to their stock this week. That makes 6,694 pounds in for the entire program. Over 3.25 TONS OF GIVING THAT THE PARISH HAS SHARED WITH OUR COMMUNITY. Thanks to all who supported the call to share their talents. Thanks
to all Brother Knights who assisted Brother Karl Hennings and to SSMM
for letting the Knights join in on supporting their Brown Bag Charity.

Lenten Fish Fry - all finished Thanks for all the support from Brother Knights and their wives at the Lenten Fish Fry. Outstanding support and a lot of fraternity and hard work was shown by all present. Served 331 plates this last week. There was considerable assistance from ACTS Brothers and Sisters and SSMM Ladies moved a lot of deserts. Please consider joining the community effort for Council 7445 and Sacred Heart ACTS and SSMM. |
April Service Opportunities Sat, Apr 2nd, Adopt a Highway Trash Pickup - The April 12th
trash Pick-up was cancelled due to the heavy rains earlier in that
week. Due to Spring Break and Easter, this event has moved out to April
2nd. We will meet at the Shell station at FM723 & FM359 and
hit the 2 miles of FM359 at 7:30AM. With 6-10 guys
(Spouses/kids/grandkids welcome) this task can be completed in less than
1.5 hours. Can you share your time to assist. Sat/Sun Apr 2nd/3rd - Council Monthly BBQ prep and cook - Brother Greg will be looking for
help for this cook with "A" Team taking the lead. Call Greg
(713-416-2983) to volunteer if you can make time. If you are not
on a BBQ team come out and see if you want to make this a regular
commit. ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED Sat/Sun Apr 9th/10th - PRMC Baby Shower - Time
for our semi-annual Baby Shower for the Pregnancy Resource Mediucal
Center (PRMC) of Fort Bend County. Teamed with the Pro-Life Ministry of
Sacred Heart, the Parish is asked to support the PRMC with Baby Items
for those going thru a troubled pregnancy. With the PRMC providing
pregnancy tests and ultra sounds to expectant mothers, products are
needed to support those ladies who make the decision to carry their
precious packages to birth. Any and all new product is appreciated
but due to liability issues used Cribs, beds and car seats cannot be
accepted. Sat Apr 23rd - Father Daughter Dance - FLC - PGK
Rickey Constantine and his team will transform the FLC gym into a
Tahiti Paradise for the Father Daughter Dance that will start at 7:00PM. All
are welcome so invite your neighbors, family, friends and anyone to the
occasion. The price is right at $20 per father. The Council
will provide atmosphere, music and a photo memory for each attendee Please look at your calendar and please schedule family and/or your time to support the Parish and Council events.
