Franciscan Fr Cliff Hennings Mass at SH Thanks
to all of our Brother Knights who attended and/or assisted with the
celebration of Fr Cliff Hennings 1st Mass at Sacred Heart at the 11:30
Mass and the meal that followed in the Family Life Center this past
weekend (6/19). Fr Cliff handed out Blessings to all in attendance
who requested them. Brother Karl and Susan were very appreciative
of all the Well Wishes their family received from all in
attendance. Thanks to tHe 4th Degree Brothers who Turned Out on Father's Day to support our Priests and Sacred Heart Parish. Brothers in attendance from Council 7445 included Commander/GK Elect David Hobson, DGK Elect John Burkett, Mike Weber, Chris Haskins, PGK Dan Polycznski, GK Howard Harbes. Support from other Councils included Louis Saucedo and Richard Hundl. Again - thanks to all who joined in at the Mass and celebration. DON'T

COME JOIN FR. MICHAEL AT HIS 1st DEGREE EXEMPLIFICATION Brother
Knights - Fr. Michael Nguyen will be joining Our Council tonight,
Monday, June 20th, at the 1st Degree Exemplification to be held at the
St. Basil Council #4204 Hall at St. Theresa's Church in Sugar
Land. There will be several other candidates joining Our Council with
Fr. Michael and it would be a great show of support if we were to have
10 or more current Brother Knights attend. The exemplification will
start at 7:00pm, but please arrive early as no one is allowed in after
the exemplification has started. Please contact Membership Director

Council Officer's Meeting - Clancy's - 7:00PM All
are invited to attend the council Officers' meeting tomorrow night at
Clancy's Pub on FM 359. We will start the meeting at 7PM but
please try to arrive by 6:30-6:45 if you want to order a
meal. Since the RR xing at 359 and 90A will close at 9:00PM,
plans are to get the meeting over before this occurs. ALL
ARE INVITED. I AM SURE ELECTED GK DAVID HOBSON WILL WANT TO SET A
COUNCIL 2016/17 PLANNING SESSION IN JULY (MAYBE TIED TO INSTALLATION)
AND YOUR INPUTS ON THE DATES ARE IMPORTANT. |
NO COUNCIL BBQ COOK - JULY Council
will not have a BBQ Cook in July. With this being 4th of July weekend,
raising a cooking crew will be pretty much impossible as Brother Knights
head out of town (or hang in town) for family outings. In addition, the
heat is getting to the near unbearable point and the biting gnats only
add to the irritation. ENJOY YOUR FAMILY AND THE REST AND RELAXATION OF A LONG WEEKEND. |
