Thank YOU!
Thanks
to all brother Knights and family members that assisted with last
week's Fish Fry. One more to go this Lenten season. Let's
all come together and make this last one a huge success. Bring the
family out for dinner and Living Stations and volunteer when/where you
can.
Thanks
also goes out to the brother Knights that assisted with Saturday's
Parish Workday to spruce up the grounds for Holy Week. Everything
looks great! And
last but definitely not least - thanks also for the continued support
of the 40 Cans for Lent Food Drive. Last Monday, 3/27, 1,069
pounds of donated items were delivered to Catholic Charities. 4
week total 3,782 pounds. Look forward to hearing how many pounds
were donated this weekend. One
more weekend to go, 4/08 & 4/09 - let's do all we can to end this
drive successfully for our community and those in need.

24 Hours with Christ and Lent Mission UPDATES REGARDING ADORATION FROM APRIL 3 TO APRIL 5 Fr.
Michael will be preaching both on Monday and Tuesday, from 7 to 8pm.
He will follow up on the Theme he had for our Lent Mission. These
presentations will be wonderful but if you were looking for some quiet
time with the Lord and you have already signed up for those hours, you
may find another time, in addition to or in lieu of the one you had
selected, in order to get the quiet time.
We will have a closing
Mass on Wednesday at 7pm and the Blessed Sacrament will be reposed
before Mass. There will be NO ADORATION after we finish the Mass.
Taking
into account the above changes, the hours of continuous ADORATION will
start on April 3 at 9am, ending on Wednesday April 5 at 6:45pm, just
before Closing Mass at 7pm. The only periods of time during these
dates, when the Blessed Sacrament will not be exposed, will be Tuesday
and Wednesday, from 7:45am to 9am.
I hope this update has been
informative to you and will help you deciding on the time you will want
to spend with our Lord, the King of kings. He is waiting for each one
of us.
