Prep - Brother Raul Martinez taking lead this month as Brother Greg
Nemec takes a well deserved break. Please notify Raul if you can help
with prep on Saturday (832-686-6680). Sun August 6th BBQ
Cook Team C. Please notify Brother Raul Martinez if able to assist with
cook (832-686-6680). Will need help with sales after all morning Masses
as well as take down/clean up. Tue August 8th Per
our July Business Meeting - our rescheduled annual Awards Ceremony and
pot luck dinner is to be held in the CCE Building Rooms 1 - 3 at 7 pm on
Tuesday, 8/08. Bring the entire family and come join us as we
celebrate our accomplishments from the past year. The Council will
provide the ham and rolls. Please bring a side dish, salad or
dessert to share. Please RSVP to GK, 832-755-8239 or

Prayer Breakfast at 9 am in the CCE Building (following morning Mass)
to celebrate Venerable Michael J. McGivney's birthday. Bring a
breakfast item to share. Tue August 15th Feast of the Assumption - no Council Meeting to take place due to Holy Day obligation. Sat August 19th Quarterly
Highway Clean-up - meeting at 7:30 am due to August heat. Corner
of 359 and 723 (Shell Parking Lot). Please plan to come out and
assist us in this community commitment. The more the merrier and
the less time in the heat. Sat August 19th Possible KC Movie Day / Evening in FLC to fulfill KofC Family Week activity typically scheduled 8/7 - 8/13 (FLC closed for cleaning 8/1 - 8/18). Tue August 22nd Business
Meeting - CCE Bldg (all active Knights in good standing are encouraged
to attend). 6:45 pm Meal/Social, 7:30 Meeting. GK in Fatima.
Please come to support DGK Johnny Burkett as he leads the meeting. Council and Business Meetings held in CCE Bldg Rms 1-3 unless posted otherwise |

Texas Right for Life Annual Celebration of Life On Saturday September 23, Texas Right to Life will hold their annual Celebration of Life dinner and silent auction at Hilton Americas - Houston. They will celebrate pro-Life victories for this year, introduce our pro-Life Senators and Representatives in the Texas Legislature who have been champions of pro-Life bills, and they have wonderful keynote speakers. Last year, David Deleiden was their featured speaker. The tickets are $200 a person or $350 a couple. If you want to go, let GK know because we are putting together some tables. The tables seat 10 people or 5 couples. Come join us for a memorable evening... |
