Support a Brother in Time of Need

Brother Knights,

We have a brother among us who has recently been befallen to a severe injury that restricts his ability to work. While he has been in treatment with reduced income, his family's primary means of mobility has also broken down, hence hindering their ability to operate and support him as much as he needs.

At our business meeting on Tuesday October 27th, We agreed to "pass the Hat - virtually" to raise funds to support his family to get the vehicle repaired.

Our goal is to raise a total of $2,000 (Two Thousand Dollars).

We appreciate your contribution of any amount you are able to give.

All funds in excess of the target amount will be placed in a Support fund in our budget and be available for other brothers who might have need in future.

Prayer for the Canonization of Father Michael J. McGivney

God, our Father, protector of the poor and defender of the widow and orphan, you called your priest, Father Michael J. McGivney, to be an apostle of Christian family life and to lead the young to the generous service of their neighbor.

Through the example of his life and virtue may we follow your Son, Jesus Christ, more closely, fulfilling his commandment of charity and building up his Body which is the Church. Let the inspiration of your servant prompt us to greater confidence in your love so that we may continue his work of caring for the needy and the outcast.

We humbly ask that you glorify your venerable servant Father Michael J. McGivney on earth according to the design of your holy will. Through his intercession, grant the favor I now present (here make your request).
