The KofC Shed Project

The time we have all been waiting for as begun. We are in need of a least 12 Brothers to help clean out the shed, move items to our portable building, and move firewood. We have a lot of work to do in a very short time before contractors start work. The date is this Friday June 11th at 6pm until? and Saturday June 12th at 8:30am.

Into the Breach - Are you ready?

Sacred Heart Parish with the aids of The Knights of Columbus are proud to present a thought-provoking series for Catholic men on the Internet, via our parish and KofC Council's web site, called "Into The Breach" to the People of our parish, but especially for us the Knights, men and boys.

There will be 12 short sessions offered one per week, and there will be a set of questions for reflection with each session.

It covers such subjects as masculinity, fatherhood, family, prayer, suffering and sacramental life.

Watch for details this weekend by email, in the church bulletin and on the Church and KofC-7445 websites.

Our brother has run his race and gone home to be with the Lord.

Funeral and memorial arrangements will be announced as soon as they are available.

Don Yeager

The Funeral Mass for Donald W. Yeager, Jr., will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Richmond on Saturday morning June 26th at 10 am. A reception to celebrate his life will follow.

A fourth Degree Turnout has been requested. New Uniform or Social attire acceptable. If you wish to participate, please confirm with Bro. David Hobson and plan to arrive by 9:30am.

May perpetual light shine on them, and may their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Volunteers are needed to help with signup at exit from each mass.

Bro. Paul Metcalf will show the introduction video at the end of mass and make the rallying call.

Tuesday 06/22 KC Council Business Meeting at 7:00 pm (live, in-person)

Our June business meeting will be held in-person at the CCE building.

The door will open at 6:30pm and our Financial Secretary will be there to hand out membership cards and receive checks for outstanding dues. Contributions to the Council 7445 Knight Relief Fund are also welcome.

The Business portion of the meeting will start at 7:00pm.

Some Housekeeping issues:

Meeting Safety Guidelines - Masks and social distancing will not be required but is recommended for the benefit of those who may still be vulnerable. You are reminded that, according to current CDC guidelines, it is recommended that those who are not fully vaccinated wear masks. You are asked to be respectful of those Brother Knights who may wish to wear masks and keep some measure of social distancing. Hand sanitizer will be available.
we shall clean the meeting room and kitchen after the meeting and promptly after the meeting and close the venue down by 8:30pm
Pre-packed snack and canned drinks will be served before the meeting. All donations shall be for the good of the order.
